We at SeniorSalesExperts.com understand what you’re going through, and are here to help make the process simple.
Once, we had the opportunity to help an older woman sell her large family estate home and move into a new senior living community. She had lived in her house for many years and accumulated a lot of belongings, so the move was a daunting task for her and her family.
We started by helping her sort through her belongings and decide what to keep, what to sell at an estate sale, what to sell at a garage sale, what to donate, and what to throw away. We hired the moving company and they did a beautiful job packing her belongings into boxes and labeling them, making sure to keep important items easily accessible.
On the day of the move, we helped her with moving, such as lifting and carrying personal boxes and loading them into the moving truck. We took breaks and stayed hydrated throughout the day to avoid exhaustion and injury. We ordered in lunch and snacks. It was a pleasant and organized experience.
Once we arrived at her new home, we worked together to unpack and organize her belongings. Our team helped her set up her furniture and decorate her new space, making it feel like home.
Throughout the process, we made sure to be patient and understanding, listening to her concerns and offering support and encouragement. Seeing her settle into her new home and feel comfortable was a rewarding experience, and we are grateful to have been able to help her through the transition into senior care.
